A substantial new development including a new pressing facility and warehouse is coming to a conclusion at Sheppy’s Cider. The new pressing equipment includes a Voran double belt press, supplied by Vigo, which is being commissioned by engineers from Austria from 24th September. The development also includes a new warehouse which - from January 2013 - will house the company\'s relocated bottling and kegging lines.
Louisa Sheppy says: "We will be pressing approximately 1,500 tonnes this year and have outgrown the buildings which have accommodated the family business so well since 1917. The relocation and expansion into purpose-built buildings will allow for continued growth of the business and will improve efficiency, working conditions and production standards."
