From 12th-14th August the beautiful grounds of the 16th century Llancaiach Fawr manor house in rural South East Wales will transform from a gentile country estate to the host of the first International Craft Cider Festival.

Reflecting the increased interest in quality local produce in general, and craft cider in particular, the festival is aimed squarely at sophisticated cider drinkers wanting to discover the world of different ciders being created outside of mainstream cider production.

Organised by The Welsh Perry & Cider Society, the festival boasts 24 craft cidermakers from Wales, England, France and Germany, all of whom are required to sell only full-juice cider products.

To accompany proceedings, there will be a stage hosting bands throughout the day and into the evening. On-site and off-site camping is also available for visitors.

SWECA will be represented by Shepton Mallet cidermaker Neil Worley of Worley\'s Cider.

"We're delighted to be one of only eight cidermakers waving the flag for England at the inaugural International Craft Cider Festival in August," said Neil. "The organisers seem to be doing a fantastic job and we're really looking forward to a great weekend of music and cider."
